Resolution, where the heck is it

I used these texture packs when they were initially released, paired with the trusty image blender. I absolutely LOVE them, and they are essential to most of my work. I thought this app was a brilliant idea when it was first announced.
Upon first using it, I noticed that the resolution capabilities were undesirable at best. I assumed this issue would be bettered in years to come. Yet, here we are, still in the Stone Age. 640 x 640 resolution makes this app simply unusable. I believed this would not even be an issue, as most if not all parties interested in this app were surely art lovers... Quality is very important.
Thanks for trying, try harder.
